We’re very lucky to live in rural eastern PA, right in the middle of the Pennsylvania Dutch country of Berks, Lancaster and Chester counties. Certainly, living in an area that’s been dedicated to the most natural farming methods has made it tremendously easier to live the way we do.
We source as many of our ingredients from this region as we can, and we are constantly inspired by the 200+ year old farming communities of the Amish and Mennonites that surround us. While we’re not Amish or Mennonite ourselves, we do thank them for keeping this way of life alive through the centuries.
