We’re absolutely committed to bringing you product that we’d eat here on our little farmstead. All of our vegetables are sourced as locally as possible through family farms, and we continue to increase our local sourcing every day. It’s at least as important to us as it is to you – both to help the family farm, and to decrease the carbon footprint we use in making the products. These two principles drove us in our everyday life before ZUKAY, and they drive us now. \r\r We’ll let you know how this goes as we go forward. Also, all other ingredients are 100% natural, and we use no chemicals in the preservation of our products. There is a little bit of raw apple cider vinegar in the relish to ensure that no pathogens (bad bacteria) can exist in them, and we added a little bit to the ketchup for taste, but that’s it. For a sweetener in our ketchup, we used a bit of Rapunzel’s Rapadura (Organic Whole Cane Sugar), which has all the vitamins and minerals found in the original cane. \r\r We don’t put anything in that we don’t use ourselves here at home. That’s our promise, and we will never go back on that.
